Ich bin ja besonders auf "Newspapers with Jones and Sophia" gespannt. Ob das wohl eine hochaufloesende Version einer der drei alten Bilder der National Archaeologist beinhalten wird?

Wobei ich mich ein bissel frage, wozu man FoA neu erfinden muss? Das Original ist schon an sich genial und ein Fanmake wird da schwer heran kommen. Die Ressourcen für so ein Projekt sollte man nicht unterschätzen, da es sich immer mit dem Original messen muss und die hatten damals ein großes Team zu Verfügung. Mir wäre es da lieber, die vielen Fanmade Indy Adventureversuche im Netz würden sich zusammen tun und gemeinsam ein gutes neues Adventure kreieren. Mag man mich für miesepetrig halten, aber ich wette auch dieses Projekt geht den Weg aller überambitionierten Fanprojekte. Bislang gab es kein fertiges Indyadventure jenseits von Lucasarts. Schade aber, ist halt so. Die meisten unterschätzen den Aufwand, den die Entwicklung für ein komplettes und eigenständiges Spiel mit gewissem Anspruch darstellt völlig. Das ist verdammt zeitraubend und wird möglichweise für Jahre die Freizeit auffressen.
Nicht umsonst dauerte die Fanentwicklung zu Wing Commander Saga auch fast ein Jahrzehnt bis zur Fertigstellung. Ungefähr genauso lang, wenn nicht länger, dümpeln Projekte wie FoA2 von Amberfisharts, oder Fountain of Youth, oder jenes, dass hier im Forum warb und sogar die deutsche Stimme von Indy gewinnen wollte und viele andere im Netz vor sich hin und kommen kein Stück weiter. An jedem davon sitzen (bzw. saßen) ein oder eine handvoll Leute, mit einer tollen Idee, anfänglichem Enthusiasmus und zu großem Ehrgeiz, die inzwischen alle eingeschlafen und der Realität gewichen sind.

Ich glaub da irgendwie nicht so dran. Auf der Website verspricht er, quasi "bald" seine Arbeit zeigen zu können, wenn Disney und Lucasfilm sich mal bequemen würden, zu antworten. Naja, mal schauen, was kommt.

Leider hat Dark Hunter nur allzu recht. Nicht nur im Bereich der Computerspiele. Die Liste der ambitionierten Projekte ist lang - zuende gebracht wurden nur wenige. (eigene mit eingeschlossen ) Die FoA Roman-Adaption von Dale Dassel ist z.B. eine der wenigen Ausnahmen.

Dark hunter: I prefer create a great remakes instead of make something new. The reason why we are making such a remake is because we want to bring this game back to life and show it to new generations. Of course, if we will be successful and there is going to be bigger budget, than I am open to any new adventures of Indiana Jones. Now, the previous versions of all remakes, which has or hasn't been finished had a big problem and its a pixel art and stolen art from original game.

Serano: Lucasarts is gone, all games developments in Lucasfilm are gone... now its all about Disney. And Disney is about money. If they don't trust such a project, they wont put any money into it. We wanna try to make the best and show it in demo. That's how it works today... My opinion is, that only fans can make a great remakes for a short budget.

Yes...all those German accent guys... Ubermann is a old guy (60s) , Kerner is a mid age (35-40s).

An Mitnehm-Indy: Es gab spaeter eine sogenannte "Talkie-Version" (siehe You-Tube...)

Old audio cannot be used! Its stealing...we dont do that. Also, old ones have very low quality. We want to create demo in english with european accents for certain characters.
