In another batch of leaked Sony e-mails, Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed that they will be directing Avengers: Infinity War Parts I and II, according to Overtice (via Screen Rant, who did the translation).
Apparently, as part of the ongoing saga of Sony e-mails about the Spider-Man situation, Joe Russo chimed in with a message to Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal in early November, saying that it was too bad the talks with Marvel had broken down.
The reports further claim that Russo confirmed in that email exchange that he and his brother are directing Infinity War -- the third and fourth Avengers films -- for Marvel but that it won't prevent them directing The Gray Man for Sony after Civil War and before The Avengers.
A further e-mail later in November also reportedly suggested that the brothers could produce Spider-Man movies going forward, with the idea that it would force out Sony's Spider-Man guru Avi Arad and be part of a larger plan to work more closely with Marvel
