Betreff: Re: Mein Story Diary deluxe
Zitat von Tim Ueberrhein:Bin mal gespannt wie du dich entscheidest bezüglich der Text Passage ( al musafir)
Sodele, der neue Text steht. Ich bitte um eine Korrektur meiner Rechtschreibfehler...
Version Marc 1.0:
"Constantinople, Turkey
June 27, 1914
I have finally come to
Constantinople, where Codirolli’s
parchment was found in the basilica of
St. Sofia. Though I doubt to make
similar discoveries in the period of my
stay, I was able to meet a scholar
called al-Musafir who - in exchange of
Dollars of course - would be willing to
connect me with a “man who would
give me some interesting information
about the location of the cup of Jesus”.
Though I doubt, that this will be of any
help, I agreed. Right now I’m willing
to clutch at a straw.

Just as I believed: al-Musafir’s
informant was of very little help, if any.
What he sold as a hint, that would help
me no matter how stuck I would be at
the moment, turned out to be nothing
but blather. According to him the Grail
is located “near the source of a river
which he reached after traveling south
from an oasis”. Considering that
information, finding the Grail is
kiddies play! But right now we have
better problems to take care of: the
Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand
has been shot together with his wife in
Sarajevo and I fear that Europe is no
longer safe."
Version Pascal 1.1:
"New York

I ‘m on the way to Constantinople,
where Codirolli’s parchment volume
was found in the Hagia Sophia. Maybe
I will find thereby more details about
this “Nur-ed-Din al Musafir” al-Jawf
was writing about in his letter from
1909.
Nur-al-Din is an Arabic name meaning
“light of relegion”. Al-Musafir means
“the traveler”, a convenient name for
an explorer. His nationality is not
revealed. His manuscript is mentioned
to be “Persian” but it is not known if
it was his native language.
The founder of the Islamic sect
Dervish was a great poet and
preacher named Mevlana. He lived in
Konya.

Konya, Ottoman Empire

The state library in Constantinople
was of very little help, if any for my
study on the crusaders. Besides as an
christian I was not allowed to visit the
mosque, which the H. Sophia is now.
But Konya was the capital of the
Seljuk Turks. From where they
opposed the Crusaders moving along
the Turkish coast toward Palestine.
Thus, it is promising to do further
research here.
Bad luck right now we have better
problems to take care of: the Austrian
Archduke Franz Ferdinand has been
shot together with his wife in
Sarajevo and I fear that Europe and
the Near East are no longer safe."
