okay, hier ist jetzt ein Ausdruck des Telegrams aus dem Hero-Diary (sorry für das schlechte Bild)



Auf COW gibt es dazu einen ausführlichen Thread, das Telegram an sich hat mit Indiana Jones nix zu tun, sondern wurde eigentlich in einem Film namens "Passage to India" verwendet und irgendein Propmaker hat es eben ins Diary mit reingeschmissen. Der Text ist niemals zu sehen, wurde aber von einem der Charaktere laut vorgelesen. Andere Details wurden vom Moderatoren-Team Magnoli/Holt bestätigt ( Telegramm ist komplett rot (Vorder- und Rückseite ), der obere Teil der originalen Rückseite fehlt usw usw )

Ich verweise - mal wieder - auf COW...DIE Quelle, ob fürs Diary..oder Inserts Zwinkernder Smiley Schon allein deswegen lohnt sich eine Registrierung!
Da ist dann unsere Version nicht zu finden, aber schicke "close enoughs".

Great work, Stefan Jones and MurdocXXL! Zwinkernder Smiley

I have some suggestions:
1) The white ("ripped off") section of the Melchizadek page is sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller. You can see that for example in one b-prop it is smaller: [click!] so that you can see more of the Melchizadek drawing. It is possible that in the hero prop one Melchizadek is without this white section i.e. the whole picture is seen.
2) Use thicker highlighter on the Sinai map (your first post). You can see how Magnoli did this: [click!]
3) Lancelot - I think that this page is red. Here is the screenshot:

But I don't know if every Lancelot page is in color or only this one (it would be Signature 9 Page 6), so I will ask on COW. Zwinkernder Smiley

Second...thanks for all the detailed informations. Realy interesting. Never mentioned the "red" lancelot
page in the screenshots you linked. Alltgough "Indiana Holt" denied that there is a red lancelot page, i think it is worth to
follow up. Maybe we will never know for sure, but for me it doesn't not like "just a matter lightening".

For the highlight of the map...thanks! I will correct that.

For the Melchizadek page: i will follow up that as well. Never mentioned before that the "ripped of" part is differe from
time to time.

Freue mich dass Du dich dem deutschen Indy-Forum angeschlossen hast!

Zweitens-...danke für die detailierten Infos.! Wirklich interessant. Hab noch nie bemerkt, dass es eine "rote" (farbige) Version
der Lancelot-Zeichung gibt, wie in Deinem verlinkten Bild zu sehen. Obwohl "Indiana Holt" verneint hat, dass es eine
"rote", farbige, Lancelot Seite gibt, denke ich es ist es wert diesem "Gedanken" zu folgen. Auch wenn wir vermutlich nie
zu 100% wissen werden, was den stimmt, denke ich es ist nicht nur eine Sache der "Beleuchtung".

Für die Markierung der Karte...Danke! Werde ich korrigieren.

Betreffende der Melchizadek Seite: werde ich verfolgen/nochmal prüfen. Hab noch nie bemerkt, dass es da unterschiedlich
Bilder der Seite gibt, wo der - wie umschreib ich das jetzt - abgerieben Fleck in der Zeichnung, von Bild zu Bild in der Größe
variert.

War mir so auch noch nicht ausgefallen das der Felck in der Melchizadek Seite variiert. War mir eh nie klar woher der überhaupt kommt?
Ich werde mal alle Bilder die ich von der Seite habe durchsuchen...Vielleicht kommt das auch davon das nicht jeder die Bilder so 100%
gezeichnet bekommt...

btw.
Wer ist eigentlich dieser Holt. Mister Magnoli kenne ich ja mittlerweile und weiß wohin mit dem, aber Holt?
Hat der Zugriff auf ein Original?

@Murdoc: Finde ich echt ne schöne Geste, dass du den englischen Beitrag auch nochmal 1:1 übersetzt reinschreibst. Nicht, dass es für mich persönlich nötig wäre, aber im cow oder sonst wo würde sicherlich niemand auf deutsch schreiben...na ja, weils eben auch niemand kann dort...;-)

Murdoc, in fact I have noticed the changing size of the "ripped off" part of Melchizadek page just recently, while exploring some infos about the B-props. I am really curious if there is the whole Melchizadek page in the diary... :-k

Iskenderun, Indiana Holt is one of the two moderators on the Grail Diary forum on COW (the second is Indy Magnoli). He is very helpful and is always watching us from the COW's watchtower Grinsender Smiley And I think that he has access to some B-props and maybe even to the Hero Diary itself (though I am not sure about this one). Together with Magnoli, they're legend on COW and even have their own emoticons Zwinkernder Smiley

Haha, Daniel, you're right - nobody would write in German on COW. But I think it wouldn't be so much bother - you can always use the translator, like I did with your post Zwinkernder Smiley
And sorry for my rudeness - writing in English on German forum. I just don't want to use translator in this case, because we all know how inaccurate this can be.

Why not share your knowledge about the diaries here with us? Your're very welcome! Well, unfortunately I use translator not so rare as you would imagine. English isn't my mother tongue so it's not that simple to write here or COW Zwinkernder Smiley Umm, my last post could be written at 8 pm US central time, but I was writing it in Poland at the time - my daily routine has very changeable timetable plus I'm often on the road, so you cannot even suspect when I will post my next message Grinsender Smiley

Back to Melchizadek: I was looking again through the scene with this page in signature 4 (the one with Roman Numerals scrap) and I'm pretty sure it's not shadow. There are three frames that show us this page and well at all three I can see the blue shadow, that is not changing its position. So I'm pretty sure this page is in color.

Well, maybe it's because in this case I wasn't using the translator Zwinkernder Smiley I am using it only to translate languages other than Polish and English to English (mainly). Then I am writing reply in English, sometimes using the translator if I don't know how a certain phrase/word would be in English. Fortunately, I noticed that now while writing a post, I almost never use the translator. Zwinkernder Smiley

And about the page order - true, it was put together by me. But remember that the one who posted the signatures was Magnoli and the one who posted where additional pages were put - was Helder22. If not them, I wouldn't be able to make the page order. Also my thanks go to Sarednab, who was really helpful when I was studying the colored pages Zwinkernder Smiley Plus, if not other COW members, I wouldn't be able to improve the thought that there could be the 4th signature repeating (we firstly thought that there are only 3 repeated signatures, but while looking through Zeppelin scene and the scene in Henry's house, I noticed that something is missing).

i think you are right with you suggestion. In my opinion this screenshot from LC shows a Melchizadek page without the ripped off section...

I have a pic from the "Williams" Diary which is showing he complete Melchizadek page. For me it looks pretty close to the screenshot ! What you think?
Maybe there is:
one "ripped of" colored Sign.2 and blank ripped of in Sign. 6 - 10- 14 PLUS
one "complete" colored Sign.4 and blank "completed" in Sign. 8 and 12?

Ich habe ein Pic des "Williams" Diary, welches die komplette Melchizadek Seite zeigt. Sieht für mich so aus wie auf dem Screenshot! Was meint ihr?
Vielleicht ist es folgendermassen:
eine "ripped of" Farbversion in Sign2 und blanke "ripped of" in Sign. 6 - 10 - 14, plus
eine "komplette" Farbversion in Sign4 und blanke "komplette" in Sign 8 und 12?

yes i have a HD-Version off all Indy-Movies, and yesterday i looked all the diary scenes frame by frame. So i hope i could help to find the last secret of the Grail diary
and give a little back to the community for all the great info's i found here and at COW.
I think the pic of the Williams" Diary look very close, but who nows exactly...

Ja ich habe jetzt HD-Versionen von allen Indy-Filme und habe mir gestern mal alle Tagebuch-Szenen genau angesehen Zungestreckender Smiley . Ich dachte vielleicht kann ich ein wenig der
Community zurückgeben, was ich hier und im COW so an Infos bekommen habe. Und vielleicht können wir auch so die letzen Geheimnisse des Tagebuchs lüften...? Hilfloser Smiley
Das Bild sieht schon sehr nah am Original aus, vielleicht finden wir das ja noch genauer raus. Ist ja schon in den letzen Tagen wieder viel passiert.
