Betreff: HUGE! Indy voted Marvel Comic's most wanted omnibus
Absolute shocker today in the results of Tigereye's 13th annual Marvel most wanted omnibus poll. This well-known yearly poll gives fans the chance to vote for the comic omnibus's they want the most. Marvel see the results and have often published the most popular choices.

Indiana Jones, the original marvel years was voted #1
Indiana Jones, the dark horse years was voted #4

That's out of 653 total books on the ballot. Yes, Indy beat out X-Men, Spider-man, AVP, etc.
2764 people participated in the voting, which was a 70% increase over 2024 total votes.

Now we wait and see, but the fans have spoken! No doubt the popularity of Great Circle (especially the PS5 version which came out 1 week before this poll opened) was a huge push. Hopefully this spark will lead to Marvel publishing the omnibus's and maybe even some original Indy comics after a long 16 year wait.

So, the "Indiana Jones, the original marvel years" should be a reprint of the old Omnibus books? I am asking because the article on YouTube sounded to me like they wanted to put together completely new collections.

Danke Kevin. Also ist angedacht, die alten Omnibus-Comics nun als „Indiana Jones, the original marvel years“ ein weiteres Mal raus zu bringen? Der Artikel auf Youtube klang für mich aber eher, als wollte man stattdessen völlig neue Sammlungen zusammenstellen.

Es geht auf jeden Fall um ein Rerelease der Marvel und DarkHorse Comics. Dafür wurde abgestimmt.

Correct, this is about reprints. That's was an omnibus is; a collection of older comics reprinted as a book
