I'm interested in making a screen accurate looking whip using a light saddle tan which I will then "predistress". The whip won't actually get distressed as such, but will get some of the darker colour associated with a used whip. Anyway I'm hoping the result will be a whip that will look like the whip above. This is how my natural tan looks after extensive sunbathing and quite a bit of use. I'd like to try and get this look from the start. I'll be making the whips Raiders style, so without the tapered handle.
Anyway, if anyone would like to be the first.. I'll offer an 8ft for 240 Euros shipped, or a 10ft for 260 Euros shipped. My normal price is 270 / 290 plus shipping. It's a risk - the whip might end up darker. However, when you see a pic of your finished whip, and you don't like it - I'll refund you your money and offer the whip up for sale elsewhere.

The whips would be 12plait.
Of course if most people think it's a bad idea I'll leave it. Of course I can just stick to the regular natural tan.
