Betreff: Quelle eines Zitates?

Hallo!

Ich habe eine Frage zu einem Indy-Zitat und würde mich über Hilfe sehr freuen:

Laut dem englischen Indiana-Jones-wiki...

Years later [d.h.: Jahre nach "The last Crusade"], the elder Jones remarked on the elusive, indefinite nature of the Grail, commenting that the cup discovered by the father-son team was simply "a Grail. But many of the oldest Grail texts, written by the most ancient seers, refer to the Grail as an elixir, as a bread, a powder, gold, or a stone."

Kann mir jemand sagen, woher dieses Zitat über den Gral stammt? Meine google-Recherche hat leider nichts ergeben, und meine örtliche Bücherei besitzt die Indiana-Jones-Bücher leider nicht.

Im wiki-Artikel sind folgende Bücher oder Filme aufgeführt, in denen der Gral auftaucht oder erwähnt wird:

Ich dachte erst, dies würde darauf hindeuten, dass das Zitat aus "Mystery of Mount Sinai" oder "The Spear of Destiny" stammt, weil beide nach "The Last Crusade" spielen. Andererseits sind im wiki nur folgende Quellen für den Artikel aufgeführt:
Grail Diary
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Sourcebook
Close Encounters of the Random Kind (Ambiguously canonical source)
Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Guide
Indiana Jones: The Official Magazine 3
The Greatest Adventures of Indiana Jones

Das sind alle Infos, die ich finden konnte. Ich wäre wirklich sehr dankbar, wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte!

Hallo und willkommen im Forum.

100% helfen kann ich zwar nicht, aber etwas eingrenzen ist möglich.
Bei den angegebenen Quellen kannst du das Grail Diary schonmal ausschließen. Dieses endet mit dem Fund des Grals.
Im Ultimate Guide und The Greatest Adventures findet sich dieses Zitat bei kurzem Überfliegen auch nicht.
Übrig bleiben also:

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Sourcebook - hab ich selber nicht, kann also nicht nachschauen
Close Encounters of the Random Kind - Davon hör ich zum ersten Mal, hab ich auch nicht
Indiana Jones: The Official Magazine 3 - Hab ich irgendwo rumliegen, halte ich persönlich für den Wahrscheinlichsten Kandidaten

Ich hoffe das hilft schon mal ein wenig.

Da "Temple of Doom" weit vor "Last Crusade" spielt, kann man das entsprechende Sourcebook vermutlich auch ausschließen, oder?

Das Sourcebook ist irgendwann in den 90ern rausgekommen im Zuge der Rollenspielbüchern. Vielleicht ist eines der enthaltenen Abenteuer zeitlich weitaus später angesiedelt.
Denke aber auch das man dieses ausschließen kann.
