Berenice Marlohe will also appear in Skyfall, while Judi Dench will return to play M. Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney will also be in the film. Though these casting announcements were hardly unexpected, director Sam Mendes still amped up excitement for Skyfall, which begins filming today in London. “There’s lots of surprises,” he said. “[Skyfall] is its own story. It doesn’t connect with the last two movies.”
