#TBT This one is a serious throwback to 1980ish. Taken at the Deauville Film Festival it was a trip of firsts and memories that I will never forget. We drove from Paris to Deauville in a Citroen stopping at Monet’s Gardens for lunch and a tour of the gardens and his work space with hundreds of paintings by the master leaning up against the walls. Once in Deauville we enjoyed platters of mussels with little orange crabs along for the ride. Another first and one of my favorite experiences with food. Later we would dawn tuxedos for the first time in preparation for the premier of ? maybe Raiders of the Lost Ark and dressed to the tees snuck into my first casino and sipped on Champaign. My first night hang with the adults. I was in heaven.
