"Dear Arne, sorry for the delay in replying- very busy weekend! I was thinking about my answer however... I am not a milliner but actually originally a pattern maker, dressmaker etc We use a common sense term called “overhanding” meaning exactly that as a negative so I always travel on the side of caution and try not to over-handle the finished felt. I brush always anti clockwise like everyone says, which is against the way the felt was produced, therefore lifting it. If we need to “work” our something on or in the felt however we go every direction until we are happy 😀⭐️🤠Trudi"
