It was based on two guys I knew in the neighborhood when I was growing up. These guys were tough SOBs and could give you that look where they would just destroy you at any moment. Anyone today, no matter how tough, wouldn't stand a chance against these guys. I based my look off these guys in my youth. Although Harrison Ford is great as Indy, he's an intellectual actor. Harrison Ford could never really capture that look of just pure brutality.
