Betreff: Re: The Henry vs. Harrison Fedora
hallo zusammen

leider spreche ich nicht Deutsch so gut aber hier ist mein Meinung

(sorry i have to switch to English)
i'm a newcomer here, although i have paid this fine place many visits in the past few months, i only registered today.

i happen to be the lucky owner of two Harrison hats and used to own Adventurebilt Henrys (i had four of them)

my opinion is there are virtually no differences between the two hats. when i first received my first harrison i was struck by the incredible similitude the Advintage factory made fedora shared with the Henry.

i had gotten rid of all my henrys at the time, but got to compare my newly acquired HArrison with one Henry i had sold to a friend of mine.
the imprint on the sweatband is different, other than that, everything else is the exact same (hmm, wait...not the price tag, mind you...)
the only thing i haven't checked is the way the liner is attached to the crown : the liner is glued in my Harrison, i can't remember whether the liner is sewn or glued in the Henry...

funny thing is, the sizing is exactly the same : first Henry i ever bought was a 58 cm, one size to big for me. had to switch to a 57 cm so the hat fit right.
same goes for the Harrison : 58 cm was to big, i ordered a 57cm and the hat fits like a glove.

i'm no hatter, i'll give you that, and i wouldn't venture to claim i'm a maven, but i've had a few hats over the years, of many makes and brands, and in my eyes, this fine Harrison lid is a spot on deadringer for the Adventurebilt Henry. In a nutshell : a most excellent factory made hat and a total bargain...

just my two cents, gentlemen...

bis bald !
