So, nachdem mein DL-44 kit von "dmachinist" aus dem RPF Forum angekommen ist (besteht aus Metallguss- und Aluminium Teilen), hier mal
der aktuelle Stand meines ANH Blaster

Nach dem die Färbung der Denix mit "Perma-blue" nicht so dolle war, habe ich es versuchsweise mit Aluminium Black versucht. Nach Meldungen auf
RPF sollte das gehen und hat es auch.

Hier der aktuelle Stand (bevor das kit gekommen ist)


(zum vergleich habe ich rechts daneben den vorherigen Stand "eingebettet")

Für das Zwischenstück auf dem der "Flash-Hider" sitzt, muss noch der Lauf der Denix angepasst werden (kurz bevor der Lauf in den "Körper" übergeht.
Hier musste also erst wieder die Feile her und auch der Lauf musste gekürzt werden!

Für den Rest des Kits hier mal (in engl. sorry, bin grad zu faul das noch mal zu schreiben) was ich gleich noch auf RPF poste:

I've wet-sanded down the scope today and wanted to use Aluminium black on it. What happened was... Close to nothing (pics to follow).
Also Perma-blue doesn't work on it. Any tips or tricks before I go to order SUPER BLUE?
(after sanding, washing and drying the parts (not only the scope) has been fully cleaned with a cleaner)

What is working is Aluminium black on the cast-parts But not an all, also had to do the flash-hider 3 to 4 times. It did work on the bull barrell and cross bar pretty damn good (if you use a bag like scottjua be Aware it is getting realy warm/hot )

So here is what I experienced:

Alumimium black

works with:
- bull barrell
- cross bar (if you finish it with steel-wool, the aging gets close to the original aging, we see on the pics)
- Flash-hider (Needs several run through in my opinion)
- a completely sanded DENIX body

does not work with:
- scope
- scope mount
- greeblies and the "mount" for same
- grill (wasn't able to get as sufficiant, even, result (see pics)
