Betreff: RE: Schwert des Gralsritter
Na da helf ich doch gerne, das lass ich mir doch nicht zweimal sagen *zwinker*... ;-)
also lt. Indygear.com ist das Schwert eine Nachbildung des Schwerts von Karl dem Großen. Hier der originaltext:
The sword used briefly in one of the final scenes of the Last Crusade is a replica of the famous sword of Charlemagne. At the climax of The Last Crusade, Indy meets a nine hundred year old crusader armed with a sword as old as he. The prop is based on one of the most famous swords of history, the Sword of Charlemagne. It measures almost one meter long, or about forty inches, the same size as the original piece. The original was used to crown French kings and was used to crown Napoleon Bonaparte. Some parts of the sword date from as early as the tenth century. It is traditionally known as the "Sword of Charlemagne" although only a few parts of the sword were likely to have been carried by the great emperor. It has a hilt, handle and pommel of gold, while the eyes of the lion's forming the hilt are inlaid will jewels.
